Description
Stainless steel backplates for a handle-and-towel-bar installation on a glass door, sold as a kit of two end caps and four backplates in Brushed, Polished, Matte Black, Satin Brass PVD or White. A towel bar carries load daily, so the backplates spread that load across the glass instead of concentrating it at the drilled holes. Used with JWL shower door handle and towel bar sets. Round stainless steel backplates with two matching end caps, covering the four fixings of a glass door handle-and-towel-bar set. Installation
Place a backplate on each face of the glass at every fixing before tightening the connection hardware supplied with the handle set; the end caps close the outer fixings. No extra drilling is required. Fit backplates at the same time as the handle so the plate, not the fitting, bears on the glass under towel load.
Care
Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap; dry after use in the shower. Avoid abrasive pads, bleach and chloride cleaners on stainless or coated finishes.
