Solid Wood Handles / Narrow and Wide Profiles
Panel-ready fridge and freezer doors are the most common application for JWL solid wood handles. Solid white oak or walnut, thru-bolt mount, in D or Round profile, narrow or wide, from 12 5/8″ to 30 5/8″ center to center; clear finish, uncoated or custom stain to match wood fronts. Can be mounted vertically or horizontally. Mounting hardware included for panel thicknesses from 3/4″ to 2 1/4″ (19–57 mm).

How to choose
- Full-height columns: 30 1/2″ metal or 30 5/8″ wood handles mounted vertically; drawer freezers: 18 1/2″ or 24 1/2″ mounted horizontally
- French-door fridges: order a J and an L handle (or two wood handles) so the ends mirror at the center
- Metal handles come in five finishes to match cabinet pulls; wood handles in Stained Oak, Oak Clear, Walnut or Uncoated to match wood fronts
- Confirm panel thickness is within 3/4″–2 1/4″ (19–57 mm)
- Download the DWG or PDF spec sheet for the millworker before panels are drilled
- Wood handle sizes quoted as narrow 12/18/24 and wide 18/24/30 are centre-to-centre (c/c) dimensions, not overall handle length

Do these handles fit panel-ready fridges from Sub-Zero, Thermador, Miele, Bosch or Fisher & Paykel?
Yes. JWL fridge handles bolt through the custom millwork panel, not the appliance door, so they fit any panel-ready refrigerator or freezer including Sub-Zero, Thermador, Miele, Bosch and Fisher & Paykel. Included hardware covers panel thicknesses of 3/4″–2 1/4″ (19–57 mm), and the handle projects 2″ (51 mm) from the panel face.
What length should I order for a full-height fridge column?
Most 30″–36″ wide, 80″+ tall columns are fitted with a 30 1/2″ metal handle or a 30 5/8″ wood handle mounted vertically; 24 1/2″ is common on shorter doors. Drawer freezers usually take an 18 1/2″ or 24 1/2″ handle mounted horizontally. The handles project 2″ so they clear adjacent panels when opened.
Can I mix wood and metal handles in one kitchen?
Yes. Wood handles are made in the same lengths as the metal series and both project 2″. Many kitchens use oak or walnut handles on the fridge panels and matching-profile stainless pulls on drawers. Which finishes are available?
Stainless handles come in Brushed, Polished, Matte Black, Satin Brass PVD and White. Wood handles come in Stained Oak, Oak Clear, Walnut and Uncoated. Custom wood lengths (10-unit minimum, 3-week lead time, up to 36″ wide or 26″ narrow) and custom finishes (50-unit minimum, 6–8 weeks) are available.
