FOR OPTIONAL COLOR MATCHING OR SPLIT FINISH BACKPLATES:
A back-to-back pair of straight ‘I’ glass door handles, hand-welded in solid 304 stainless steel, mounted through the glass with a 2″ (51 mm) projection per side, in 18″, 24″ and 30″ center-to-center lengths. Fitted to glass swing doors, shower doors and office partitions that are pulled from both faces. Designed and assembled in Vancouver, BC; in-stock orders ship in 1–3 workdays to Canada and the US.

‘I’ profile: a straight bar squared at both ends, on a 1″ x 1/2″ D-section, with both legs returning to the glass. Two handles per set. Overall lengths 18-1/2″, 24-1/2″ and 30-1/2″ (center to center 18″, 24″, 30″). Five finishes: Brushed, Polished, Matte Black, Satin Brass PVD and White.
The two handles clamp to each other through the glass with the included connection hardware; JWL rates the back-to-back set for 3/8″ and 1/2″ (10–12 mm) tempered glass. Clean with mild soap and a soft cloth; rinse and dry in wet rooms. Avoid abrasive pads, bleach and chloride cleaners on stainless or coated finishes. Use door width as the guide: 18″ C/C (18-1/2″ overall) for doors under about 26″, 24″ C/C for 26″–32″ doors, and 30″ C/C for doors 34″ and wider. On a shower door the 24″ size is the common choice; on a full-height office door a 30″ bar reads in proportion.
JWL specifies the back-to-back glass set for 3/8″ to 1/2″ (10–12 mm) glass, the standard thicknesses for frameless shower and partition glass. If your glass is outside that range, contact JWL before ordering or consider a single-sided handle with back cap. Holes must be cut before tempering; do not drill tempered glass.
2″ (51 mm) from the glass face on each side without backplates. With optional backplates the projection is 2 3/8″ (60 mm) per side including the plate. Allow for this where the door opens against a wall, a vanity or another fixture.
All five finishes are on solid 304 stainless steel. Brushed and Polished are bare stainless with a 5-year commercial warranty; Matte Black, White and Satin Brass PVD are coated with a 2-year commercial warranty. Residential installations are covered by the limited lifetime warranty in every finish.
