A glass shower door set in solid 304 stainless steel: a straight ‘I’ handle on the outside face and a ‘U’ towel bar inside, fixed through the glass as one assembly with a 2″ (51 mm) projection per side, in 18-1/2″, 24-1/2″ and 30-1/2″ lengths with 18″, 24″ or 30″ center-to-center. The ‘I’ handle is a straight bar with both ends open — the most minimal of JWL’s shower configurations, a single vertical line on the visible face. The ‘U’ towel bar inside returns to the glass at both ends. Both are 1″ x 1/2″ D-profile bar, hand-welded, in Brushed, Polished, Matte Black, Satin Brass PVD or White.
Handle and towel bar mount as one assembly through two holes in the glass with the included connection hardware; the center-to-center (18″, 24″ or 30″) follows the length ordered. Have the glass drilled to the DWG pattern before tempering. Suitable for 3/8″ and 1/2″ (10–12 mm) tempered glass. Optional backplates raise projection to 2 3/8″ (60 mm) per side.

The 18-1/2″, 24-1/2″ and 30-1/2″ sets have 18″, 24″ and 30″ center-to-center respectively. Match the C/C to the hole spacing in the glass; if the glass is not drilled yet, 24″ is the usual choice on a 72″–80″ tall frameless door and 30″ on full-height panels.
The set is intended for 3/8″ and 1/2″ (10–12 mm) tempered glass, the standard for frameless shower enclosures, and connection hardware for the glass is included. If your panel is thinner framed glass or thicker architectural glass, contact JWL before ordering. Holes must be cut before tempering; do not drill tempered glass.
All three have a ‘U’ towel bar inside. The outside handle differs: ‘I’ is a straight bar with open ends, ‘J’ has one rounded end and one squared, and ‘L’ has both ends squared. Choose I for the most minimal line, or J or L to match those profiles on JWL door handles and cabinet pulls elsewhere.
Each set ships in a single finish — Brushed, Polished, Matte Black, Satin Brass PVD or White. For a two-tone look, JWL sells optional colour-matched or split-finish backplates separately; they fit between the hardware and the glass and add 3/8″ of projection per side.
