Profile

A plain cylindrical knob on each face of the glass, machined from solid 304 stainless steel and offered in Brushed, Polished, Matte Black, Satin Brass PVD and White to match every JWL handle and towel bar in the glass range. There is no lever or bar, so the knob suits doors that are pushed and pulled from a single point rather than gripped along a length.

Installation

The two knobs thread together through one hole in the glass; connection hardware is included and the knob itself is single-piece, so no separate fixings are needed. Suitable for 3/8″ and 1/2″ (10–12 mm) tempered glass. Optional backplates in a matching or split finish are sold separately and add to the projection. DWG, 3D and PDF spec sheet downloads are on the page.

Care

Clean with a soft cloth and mild soap and dry after use. Avoid abrasive pads, chlorine bleach and acidic descalers on coated finishes. Limited lifetime residential warranty on materials and workmanship (commercial: 5 yr brushed stainless, 2 yr coated). Full terms: jwlhome.com/warranty

Frequently asked

What size hole do I need in the glass?

The knob set fixes through a single drilled hole in the glass. The required hole diameter and the knob diameter are given on the PDF spec sheet and DWG file downloadable from the product page; have the glass fabricator drill to that dimension before tempering, since tempered glass cannot be drilled afterward.

What glass thickness does the knob set fit?

The back-to-back knob set is intended for 3/8″ and 1/2″ (10–12 mm) tempered glass, which covers standard frameless shower and swing-door panels. Connection hardware is included in the box. For glass outside that range, contact JWL before ordering to confirm hardware.

Can I match the knob to a JWL towel bar or handle?

Yes. The knob set is made in the same five finishes as every JWL glass door handle and towel bar — Brushed, Polished, Matte Black, Satin Brass PVD and White — so a knob on one door can match a handle-and-towel-bar set on an adjacent panel or a matching cabinet pull elsewhere in the room.

Is a knob or a handle better for a shower door?

A knob suits narrow doors and enclosures where a full-length handle would crowd the panel, and it costs less. A bar handle gives a longer grip and a stronger visual line on wide or full-height glass. Many JWL customers use a knob outside and a towel bar inside; see the towel bar and pull knob sets.

How fast does it ship, and is there a warranty?

In-stock knob sets ship in 1–3 workdays from Vancouver, BC to Canada and the US; orders over ship free. The set carries a limited lifetime residential warranty on materials and workmanship (commercial: 5 yr brushed stainless, 2 yr coated). Full terms are at jwlhome.com/warranty.
