FOR OPTIONAL COLOR MATCHING OR SPLIT FINISH BACKPLATES:
A back-to-back glass door handle set in solid 304 stainless steel: a ‘J’ handle on one face and an ‘L’ handle on the other, fixed through the glass with a 2″ (51 mm) projection per side and lengths of 18-1/2″, 24-1/2″ and 30-1/2″. It is specified for frameless glass shower doors, glass swing doors and office glass entries. Designed and assembled in Vancouver, BC; in-stock orders ship in 1–3 workdays.

The ‘J’ handle has one rounded end and one squared end; the ‘L’ handle has both ends squared. Both are made from a 1″ x 1/2″ D-profile bar, hand-welded and finished in Brushed, Polished, Matte Black, Satin Brass PVD or White. Mounting the rounded J on the outside and the squared L inside gives a softer edge where hands meet the door and a flat edge inside the enclosure.
The set mounts back-to-back through two holes in the glass; connection hardware for the glass is included, and the handle bodies thread together against the panel. Suitable for 3/8″ and 1/2″ (10–12 mm) tempered glass. Optional colour-matched or split-finish backplates are sold separately; with backplates, projection per side increases to 2 3/8″ (60 mm). Most frameless shower doors 24″–30″ wide use the 18-1/2″ set; taller or wider panels, and full-height glass entry doors, usually take the 24-1/2″ or 30-1/2″ length so the handle reads in proportion to the panel. Check the center-to-center spacing on the PDF spec sheet against any pre-drilled holes before ordering.
The J+L back-to-back set is intended for 3/8″ and 1/2″ (10–12 mm) tempered glass, which covers most frameless shower and swing-door glass. Connection hardware for the glass is included. If your panel is outside this range, contact JWL before ordering so the correct hardware can be confirmed. Holes must be cut before tempering; do not drill tempered glass.

All five finishes are on solid 304 stainless steel. Brushed and Polished are bare stainless and the simplest to maintain in showers. Matte Black, White and Satin Brass PVD are coated finishes; they are suitable for bathrooms but should be cleaned without abrasives or chlorine-based products.
