Frequently asked

Can these handles be used on shower doors?

Yes. Every glass handle set is supplied with M5 screws, profile-matched washers and gaskets that seal the drilled holes, and most configurations double as a towel bar on the outside of the enclosure. Pick a back-to-back set for two-sided grip or a single-sided handle with a back cap for one-sided access.

What glass thickness do these handles fit?

Back-to-back glass door handles are specified for 3/8″ and 1/2″ (10–12 mm) tempered glass, the standard range for frameless shower enclosures. Each set includes M5 screws, profile-matched washers and gaskets for a water-tight seal. If your glass falls outside that range, contact JWL before ordering to confirm hardware.

What lengths are available, and how large are the glass holes?

I, J and L handles come in 18 1/2″, 24 1/2″ and 30 1/2″ overall lengths; the U handle is 3″ and pull knobs are single-hole. Hole diameter and center-to-center spacing are on each product page’s PDF and DWG downloads, so the glass fabricator can drill before tempering.

Which finishes are available?

All stainless handles and pulls come in five finishes: Brushed, Polished, Matte Black, Satin Brass PVD and White. The same five finishes run across cabinet pulls, appliance handles, door handles and glass door handles, so one finish can be carried through a kitchen, bathroom and closet without mixing suppliers.

How fast do orders ship, and what is the warranty?

In-stock orders ship in 1–3 workdays from Vancouver, BC to Canada and the US, with free shipping on orders over $500. Stainless handles carry a limited lifetime residential warranty on materials and workmanship (commercial: 5 yr brushed stainless, 2 yr coated). Full terms are at jwlhome.com/warranty.
