JL-shaped Handles – Back-to-Back – Mounted on Glass Door
Handles can be mounted vertically or horizontally and can be used as a towel bar. Typical uses range from glass swing doors, bathroom shower doors as well as on any glass door that requires quality built handles.
The handles are secured in place by M5 screws, washers and gaskets for a water tight seal. The washers take the same profile shape as the handle giving a higher level of fit and finish. Optional larger profiled escutcheon backplates are provided with each handle set for a more classic looking installation. Included is mounting hardware screw lengths that accommodate a glass thickness ranging from 1/4″[6mm] to 3/4″ [19mm].

Frequently asked
What glass thickness do these handles fit?
Back-to-back glass door handles are specified for 3/8″ and 1/2″ (10–12 mm) tempered glass, the standard range for frameless shower enclosures. Each set includes M5 screws, profile-matched washers and gaskets for a water-tight seal. If your glass falls outside that range, contact JWL before ordering to confirm hardware. Holes must be cut before tempering; do not drill tempered glass.
Are these water-tight for a shower enclosure?
Yes. Each set includes rubber gaskets that sit between the washers and the glass on both faces, sealing the drilled holes against water. The washers follow the handle’s D profile. Tighten the M5 screws evenly and do not over-torque; the gasket, not the metal, should bear on the glass.
What length should I use on a shower door?
On a standard 72″–80″ tall frameless shower door, 24 1/2″ is the usual choice and works well as a towel bar; 18 1/2″ suits narrow doors under 26″ wide, and 30 1/2″ suits tall or wide panels. Handles can be mounted vertically or horizontally.
Which finishes are available?
All stainless handles and pulls come in five finishes: Brushed, Polished, Matte Black, Satin Brass PVD and White. The same five finishes run across cabinet pulls, appliance handles, door handles and glass door handles, so one finish can be carried through a kitchen, bathroom and closet without mixing suppliers.
How fast do orders ship, and what is the warranty?
In-stock orders ship in 1–3 workdays from Vancouver, BC to Canada and the US, with free shipping on orders over $500. Stainless handles carry a limited lifetime residential warranty on materials and workmanship (commercial: 5 yr brushed stainless, 2 yr coated). Full terms are at jwlhome.com/warranty.
