Description
Stainless steel backplates for a handle-and-pull installation on a glass door, sold as a kit of one end cap and three backplates in Brushed, Polished, Matte Black, Satin Brass PVD or White. The backplates sit between the hardware and the glass, cover the drilled hole, spread the clamping load and finish the reverse face. Profile
Flat round backplates in solid stainless steel, finished to match the five JWL handle finishes. Order color-matched (same finish as the handle) or split-finish (for example a Matte Black handle with Brushed backplates). This kit is sized for one handle plus one pull knob on the same glass door: the end cap closes the knob side, the three backplates cover the remaining fixings.
Installation
Backplates fit over the standard through-glass fixings supplied with JWL glass door handles and knobs; no extra drilling is needed. Place a backplate on each side of the hole before tightening the connection hardware so the plate, not the fitting, bears on the glass. Backplates are sold separately from the handle; add them to the same order to match finish batches.
Care
Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap; dry after cleaning in wet rooms. Do not use abrasive pads, bleach or chloride cleaners on stainless or coated finishes.
