JWL Hardware offers both finish chip and full-size samples to designers, architects and showrooms to furnish in-house sample libraries for interior projects. To be eligible, verification of trade status may be requested.

Finish chip sample options
JWL Hardware supplies two kinds of samples to interior designers, architects and showrooms: free finish chip samples with shipping included, and full-size handle samples at a discount. Finish chips cover Brushed, Polished, Matte Black, Satin White and Satin Brass stainless steel plus White Oak clear, Walnut clear and Oak black stain, one of each per office or showroom. Verified trade accounts get 50% off full-size cabinet pulls and a waived restocking fee on a first door handle sample order. Trade verification may be requested; samples ship from Vancouver, BC.

Cabinet pull samples (full size)
Verified trade accounts can purchase cabinet pulls at 50% off retail value (MSRP) plus all shipping and import fees (if applicable).
Full size samples are also fully refundable, including return shipping fees, if arriving in original condition and packaging.*
Quantities are limited to 1 of each pull type & finish. Varied lengths of the same type and finish are accepted.

JWL will waive the restocking fee and issue a full refund on a full-size door handle order where only 1 of any finish type and length is ordered. Return shipping will be paid for by JWL.
More than one finish type may be ordered in the sample order.
Subsequent sample orders will be subject to a standard restocking fee.
Return shipping paid by JWL is only available on the first sample order.
To be eligible for refund, items must be returned in original condition and packaging.

Who can get free finish samples?
Interior designers, architects and hardware showrooms building an in-house sample library. Finish chip samples are complimentary, shipping included, limited to one of each finish per design office or showroom. JWL may ask for verification of trade status, such as a company website, before sending them.
Which finishes come as chip samples?
Stainless steel: Brushed, Polished, Matte Black, Satin White and Satin Brass. Wood: White Oak clear coat, Walnut clear coat and Oak black stain. These match the finishes on JWL door handles, glass door handles, appliance handles and cabinet pulls, so a chip set covers the whole range.
How do full-size cabinet pull samples work?
Verified trade accounts get 50% off retail on cabinet pull samples. Each order may contain one pull type and finish, in more than one length of that type if needed. Pulls returned in original condition are fully refundable. Cabinet pulls project 1″ (25 mm) and use a 1/2″ x 1/4″ bar.
Are door handle samples refundable?
On a first door handle sample order, JWL waives the 30% restocking fee and pays return shipping. To stay refund-eligible, order one finish type and length; several finishes may be included in that single order. Later sample orders are subject to the standard restocking fee. Items must be returned in original condition.
How fast do samples ship?
In-stock samples ship in 1–3 workdays from Vancouver, BC to Canada and the US. Finish chips ship free; full-size samples follow the usual shipping rates, free on orders over $500. Email [email protected] with your company name, office address and the finishes or handles you need.
